Mere days after announcing its historic rebranding, Optimizely (Episerver) has announced that the company was named a “Leader” in Digital Experience Platforms in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms 2021. The prestigious report by market research firm Gartner ranks providers in four quadrants according to their completeness of vision and their ability to execute. Optimizely (Episerver) achieved a place in the “Leader” quadrant for the second year in a row. In fact, Optimizely (Episerver) leapfrogged Sitecore and Liferay to sit among the “top 3” DXP players in the market, according to Gartner

The report specifically lauded Optimizely’s (Episerver’s) good understanding of the DXP market, which is supported by its product vision and acquisitions like Idio for advanced personalization (now part of Episerver Intelligence Cloud) and Optimizely. It further emphasized the company’s improved marketing effectiveness and transparent pricing.
